Chimera researcher and former Department of Government PhD student Dr Paul Stoneman has received a book commission from Palgrave-Macmillan to develop his PhD thesis into a key text on trust in society and government.

Entitled ‘This thing called trust’ the book will explore comparative social survey data, offering an understanding of the different civic cultures in Western Europe.

The book is expected to appeal to undergraduate students, policy makers, and the wider public and will be published Spring/Summer of 2007.
